Computers from 1965-1975
Digital Equipment Corp. made the PDP-8 in 1965, the
first commercially successful minicomputer.
Data General Corp introduced the Nova in 1968, with
32 kilobytes of memory, for $8,000.
The Kenbak-1 was the first personal computer, made
in 1971.
The Altair 8800 computer kit was based on Intel's 8080
microprocessor and was on the cover of popular Mechanics in 1975.
